This book is so intimate and I appreciate Mrs Ester’s courageous expression of her weaknesses – I related a lot to them and it’s so motivating to see how she manifested her faith regardless of how she felt. I don’t need to hide who I am or what I feel, but I must be revolted and take everything to God… Wonderful!

Beyond a great read. A journey through childhood, motherhood and what being a wife of a preacher really means. The good side and how to go through hell and fire. Well survive to tell the tale. I personally was mesmerized and was inspired to do better.
Be warned you will not put book down and you might cry a little bit.

This book is a must book to read for women. I have learnt a lot reading this book, you can see that Mrs. Ester’s really understand her role as a woman of God in her Marriage. Because now day woman wants to be like man, you really see how she was submitting to her husband. She was only able to submit to her husband because of her relationship she has with God.

    It’s a great lesson!

This book showed me what a true woman of faith should be like. With all the battles that Mrs Ester and Bishop Macedo went though you would have expected them to leave the works and maybe even each other, but they remained strong I definitely recommend this book, there are things that are said here that weren’t even mentioned in the movie

This book is amazing, everyone should read this book because it makes you realise how much capability one has to endure when God is in the picture. Mrs Ester speaks about battles she faced, her upbringing, marriage and numerous other things.

Very motivational- nothing is impossible with a faith born of revolt. This book shows that even when the odds are against you whatever God has placed in your heart He will give to conditions to fulfill it.
